Description:
Abbots Wood Extra Care Village is a Design and Construction Contract of a new extra care retirement village for over 55’s catering for a range of care needs.
The scheme provides 131 apartments over two linked building, offering for a blend of tenures; outright sale; shared ownership and rent with each self-contained apartment finished to the highest standard. The village offers residents a fitness suite, hair dressing salon, launderette, day care lounge, summerhouse, craft rooms, ICT suite, roof terrace, greenhouse and a bistro. The project was designed and constructed to Code for Sustainable Homes level 3 and achieved Secured by Design accreditation.
